Earlier this month, a client of mine brought me, to back up in digital form, some of the "Christmas In The Valley" albums by Wayne Rostad, in partnership with long-time Ottawa country station CKBY-FM, then at 105.3 and now on the Smiths Falls-licensed 101.1 signal. Volume 4, seen in this photo, was released about 1989, and the liner notes indicate that net proceeds from sales of the cassettes, sold at Mac's convenience stores, supported the CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) and Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre foundations.
