I normally try to avoid a lot of the treacle that populates the airwaves around Christmas, but this one might be worth a look even for a Grinch like me. NBC has a Motown Christmas special coming up for the holidays and this one promises some pretty legendary names.
Among those on the "Motown Christmas" two hour special: Smokey Robinson, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Gladys Knight and The Temptations. Tributes to Stevie Wonder by Jamie Foxx and Diana Ross (with Hallie Bailey) are included. And there will also be a number of contemporary acts performing during the show, with the network hoping it appeals to all generations.
It airs on NBC Dec. 11th.

Many, many Motown artists put out Christmas albums. It will be great to see some of these performers again. Thanks for letting us know about this.
