This is total speculation, but generally, CHFI is one of the first in the market to go all Christmas all the time, a regular topic of discussion here. In the past, it usually happens soon after Remembrance Day, which is Monday.
But could there be a big difference this year that might cause the Yuletide from rushing in? The long anticipated (and incredibly hyped) Taylor Swift series of concerts begins later this week. I admit I don't know a lot about her music - not in the demo - but I'm pretty sure she doesn't do any Christmas material.
If they did make the switch, it would theoretically prevent them from playing her music while she's in town. And that wouldn't make a lot of sense, given the whole city will never stop hearing about this. Swift is in town until Nov. 23rd.
Anyone want to bet they don't make the annual change until after that?
For the record, last year they didn't pull the Christmas switch until Nov. 19th. So waiting a few extra days might make sense.
Again, total speculation but we'll see what they decide.

OK. Is that the only one she's ever done? Not sure 'FI would want to rely on just one CD for their Christmas content while she's in town. As noted, this was total speculation on my part and I'll be interested to see what they do.
Also worth noting several Rogers stations, including CHFI, did a much-hyped giveaway of tickets to her concerts. So you'd think they'd want to maximize the publicity as much as possible by being able to play her entire catalogue while she's in town.
Nov. 24th is not overly late for the switch if that's what they choose to do. That would five them a full month before Christmas Eve. But they run the risk that some other station in town may try to beat them to it.

CHFI can go all Christmas any time it wants (hopefully AFTER November 11th)
KISS 92 is the Taylor Swift station.
