Never heard this before. The description says it's from the late '60s-early '70s, but it sounds like it might be from an earlier time. I wonder what was on the "B" side?

Could have been from around 1961 since the song mentions the O'Keefe Centre which opened October 1st 1960. The O'Keefe Centre was a big deal, even The Ed Sullivan Show broadcast live from the new venue on April 28, 1963.

While listening to that, I discovered another fascinating video, this one posted by former CHUM jock Bruce Marshall.
It's the CHUM Anniversary Montage, celebrating 50 years of its existence as a rock station. Some incredible pics in there, all to the tune of the CHUM "You" jingle package.

I think sister station CHUM FM played that audio on the 50th Anniversary. I remember hearing one station break on CHUM FM congratulating CHUM AM on their 50th. They said something like without 1050 CHUM, we would never be here, and then went into a 1050 CHUM jingle. It was pretty cool. City TV also had a special on CHUM's big day.

CHUM's Tribute to Toronto was produced by Futursonic Productions of Dallas in 1962. It never mentioned CHUM once, which was deliberate. The lyrics were written by CHUM's Promotion Director Allen Farrell.
The B side was blank.
