Serena Ryder releases official Pan Am Games song

These 'inspirational' songs always remind me of the Eurovision song contest when I was a kid.  And as a 680 reporter said this morning..  it sounds exactly like you think it will .

Millbrook's Serena Ryder released Together We Are One, the official song of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Games on Thursday.

Ryder was chosen for the official song out of 70 submissions.

“The song not only reflects the enthusiasm and camaraderie of the Games, but also represents the cultural pride of the 41 participating countries and territories,” states a release from the Pam Am Games organizing committee.

'Together We Are One unites everybody, regardless of who they're rooting for. It's their song. It's everyone's song," Ryder stated in the release.

The song was written by Murray Daigle (also the producer), Jasmine Denham and Bobby John, with a French adaptation by Diane Cadieux and a Spanish adaptation by Celia Palli. The French version is sung by Jasmine Denham and the Spanish version is sung by Eva Avila.

The official song is available for download on iTunes in English Together We Are One, French Ensemble On Est Immense and Spanish Unidos Somo Mas.
