I haven't been to the CNE in decades and don't really expect to ever go again. But the one thing I will always remember as a child was the CHUM satellite station near the Princes' Gates, where you could hear the station and see some of the disc jockeys as they did their shows or met listeners. It was the one place I insisted my mom take me when we went there in the 60s and that "if we get lost we'll meet you back here" spot.
I know CKEY also had a presence there for a time, thanks to some pics kindly sent to the board by SOWNY member Doug Thompson (both are from his collection below.)
And if I'm not mistaken, I seem to recall CHFI once had a space there in one of the buildings, either Better Living or The Food Building.
But I can't recall if any other stations took the time - and the expense - to set up a booth there for roughly three weeks. Does anyone remember who else was there? Are there any still there today?

I did not actually see AM 740 at the CNE this year, but Zoomer IS in the Arts & Crafs building.
They decided to display their "History of Television" exhibit there. Good for them!

Zee 1 OH three is near the Heritage entrance to the Enercare centre handing out bags that advertise both their station and Access Storage (their sponsor for being at the EX).
Virgin Radio is at the entrance to the Princess Gates handing out lip Balm. Nothing says "listen to this station" like Lip balm eh? lol
I did not notice any other radio stations there.

Several years ago, when I was still living in Toronto, I remember seeing Rob and Doug Ford doing a live remote broadcast from the Ex. Z103.5, CHUM 104.5, and at least one other local station were there as well.
