Visual Radio
For Shane Hewitt and The Night Shift (national show produced at NewsTalk 1010) I’m adding visuals to the online edition of my tech reports. My features tend to be Show & Tell and heavy on exposition, so listeners often wish there was an easy way to listen again and get more detail.
That’s the main reason for posting clips when the focus is on getting people to listen live (every Thurs evening). I’m just going the extra mile, so you can see what we’ve described after.
Not sure it would be useful for all radio content, but I think…. It works for mine

I heard your segment last night and thought it was great. It will be interesting to see how adding a visual to radio works. Good luck with it.

I also enjoyed your segment last night, good job! And I think adding visuals to your piece works, beats having a graphic up there for 9-10 minutes.
