Although not in the SOWNY region, another heritage station in the US has effectively gone off the air. Oldies station KONO 860 in San Antonio, TX has been replaced with Bloomberg - sound familiar?

This really speaks to the trend around the AM industry as a whole; stations like WCBS and CHML are not alone.

I like Bloomberg Radio. But, when an AM station is going downhill, Bloomberg seems to be the last rung on the bottom of the ladder. It doesn't last long after that.
 


After all is said and done, more is usually said than done.
