Online!
There's no shortage of oldies stations available online if you're in the mood for a blast from the past, but there are two I've found that I keep going back to when I'm in a nostalgic state of mind.
I've written about Planet Oldies before, but there's another one called Oldies America. Both play the hits you'd expect and occasionally add a few you might not. The sound quality of both is excellent and each has what I call a "secret sauce."
Both play vintage PAMS jingles between each song from Top 40 giants of the past, including WABC, WGAR, WLS and KOMA, just to name a few. There no jocks and no interruptions for commercials, just a steady stream of some great music from the 60s and 70s, with some late 50s thrown in occasionally, too.
It's those jingles that keep me coming back for more, because they remind me of the great radio stations I grew up listening to.
If this interests you, you can find both of them at the links below. (There are other links to get there, but these make the playlist available, so I prefer to use them.)
