It seems almost ironic, given the recent CRTC edict aboutforeign streamers being forced to fork over 5% of their Canadian revenues to CanCon and other sources, that Amazon would confirm its working on 7 new shows aimed entirely at Great White North subscribers.

All of them are documentary style reality-based shows and include programs about comedian Tom Green, some unsolved murders in this country and the story of a woman who lost her memory and had to begin her life all over again. An Amazon spokesperson confirms it's their largest investment in such content since they began the service.
