Patricia says most of her case involves her time before UNIFOR came into CP-24, back in 2018.
I'd be interested to know if things improved after the union came in.
Usually when a union covers a newsroom, reporters and anchors have the same pay scales so a woman would not be paid less than a man with the same seniority and job etc.
There are other cases where a really top anchor, like Lisa Laflamme, would not be in the union, but have a separate contract..
But at CP-24, from what I understand all 25 or so anchors and reporters are union members.
