Stratford's CJCS Celebrates 100th Anniversary

It's a small town with a big theatre festival and a radio station that has been on the air for 100 years. CJCS-FM, which was originally on 1240 AM, has been broadcasting to Stratford for a century and among the famous names who got their start there is Lloyd Robertson.  It's owned by Vista Radio.

Nice to see a station actually marking a milestone. Too many ignore their own history (I'm looking at you, CFRB!)

I have Lloyd’s autobiography, it’s a really good read - he talks a lot about his time growing up in Stratford and working for CJCS.

Vista's two Stratford stations are so close together on the dial.  CJCS at 107.1 and CHGK 2day FM at 107.7.
Wonder which one Peter Mansbridge listens to?
