A Jeopardy Spinoff Coming To Major Streamer

It's the second longest continuous running game show, after The Price Is Right. Now there's about to be a clone of Jeopardy.

What is "Pop Culture Jeopardy" Alex? That's the right question, but you may not like the answer as to where you can see it. It's going to be on Amazon Prime in North America and will not be on conventional broadcast TV. The categories will all be from pop culture and unlike the original, there will be teams of three competing to be crowned the ultimate winners.

It's not the first time there's been a Jeopardy spin-off. Sports Jeopardy was seen by some on Crackle, a Sony website. And my personal fave, Rock and Roll Jeopardy, aired on VH1 in the U.S. and MuchMoreMusic here. It was hosted by Survivor's Jeff Probst and I only wish it had lasted longer. It was great. You can see an episode below and see how well you might have done.

If I remember correctly, on RNR Jeopardy, it was one (or won) and done. I don't think contestants came back for the next show. And I agree with you - Probst was not a great host. But I really enjoyed this version the most. I wish it had gone on longer.

Re: A Jeopardy Spinoff Coming To Major Streamer

I wasn’t around in 1998 but there was a kids version of Jeopardy as well. It was called “Jep” and it aired on the Game Show Network from 1998 until 1999. I can’t remember who was the host. But at least they had something for the young ones back in the late 90s. One of those days.
