    CBS, Cable Channels and Streamers Sold Off If SONY Buys Paramount

    The New York Times reported yesterday that the rumoured $26 billion SONY/Apollo Global Management bid for Paramount could see the film/TV/streamer conglomerate broken up. Supposedly SONY is primarily interested in Paramounts movie business and not as much in broadcasting and streaming.

    Also SONY would have problems buying a broadcast network and cable channels since it is a Japanese company.
