These are from a CHUM annual report from 2000, almost a quarter century ago. Allan Waters was still in charge of his baby. It would be another half decade before Bell got its clutches on it, when the man they called "Mr. Waters" died in 2006 and the family decided to sell the empire.
Whether you think Bell has made it better or worse is up to you, but I suspect I know where most would fall on the question. The annual report contained some great pictures, beginning with the cover shot of the still familiar and iconic CHUM Radio sign.
Those in Ottawa may remember the CHUM complex in the capital.
