Re: Why Would CFRB Nix Live Coverage Of Trump's First Press Conference?

ok I deleted the msg with the picture which I thought was funny but perhaps rubbed people the wrong way and linked to an article which spoke about the fact that a senate intelligence committee investigation has been opened. The post with Seth Myers clearly caught MS Conway in lies.

And then there's this:

Talk radio hosts and bloggers may be included in White House press briefings

If you thought the Rob Ford era was a circus, in the words of Al Jolson, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Alex Jones at a White House press conference? Can the little green men be far behind? One thing is certain: love Trump or hate him, from a news standpoint, it's going to be a wild and entertaining four years.

Re: Why Would CFRB Nix Live Coverage Of Trump's First Press Conference?

unclefester ( and Wednesday and Pugsley too) the Merkel phone tap thing was a revelation from the Snowden leak and I believe the NSA had started the tapping of German chancellors pre-dating Obama.

In any case according to the Guardian from 2015 Germany dropped the investigation because rosecutors say they can find no actionable evidence to support claims German chancellor’s mobile phone was tapped by US National Security Agency

Re: Why Would CFRB Nix Live Coverage Of Trump's First Press Conference?

Since I started this thread, maybe this will be an appropriate finish for it. I noticed that CFRB is sending a reporter to Washington to cover the inauguration this Friday. So obviously they feel something about Trump's ascension is worth noting. It just makes their previous decision on the initial press conference - which wouldn't have cost them a cent - all the more curious.

No topic has attracted this many responses since "abandon format because it's Christmas?" of last month.     When RadioActive starts a topic, Program Directors take notice.     About time too

American governed by an ill tempered, vindictive sociopath with multiple failed businesses.  What could possibly go wrong? ;)
