He was found unconscious in his New York City apartment after a fall and is in serious condition recovering in hospital. He was almost miraculously discovered by his landlord and authorities say he may have been out for 20 hours before he was found. 

Reynolds is from Buffalo and famously made his name in radio as a teenager on WKBW in its rock radio days. He's since worked almost everywhere, including WFIL Philadelphia, along with WNBC and WOR in New York City. 

It's not clear what caused him to fall.
