You Just Knew 2016 Couldn't Bow Out Without One More Celebrity Death

What is likely the last celebrity death of 2016 was a TV regular - William Christopher, who played Father Francis Mulcahy on the smash CBS hit M*A*S*H* for 11 seasons. (I'm not sure how many know he wasn't in the pilot, with his part being played by someone else. But after that, he was in almost every episode and continued the part in the short-lived After M*A*S*H*.)

The title of the last record-rated episode of the show seems an appropriate epitath: "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen."

The final (we hope) victim of 2016.

And to make it even more interesting, Wayne  (Trapper John) Rogers died exactly one year earlier.
