Why This U.S. Sportscaster Always Waves A Cdn. Flag At Show's End

His name is Tony Kornheiser and at the end of every episode of his ESPN show, "Pardon The Interruption" (seen here weekdays at 5:30 PM on TSN) he proudly waves a Canadian flag and often bids Canada a good night.

He was born in the U.S., so why does he do it? Here's the answer.

In the US the show carries right on so it would be an abrupt chop for Canadians if he didn’t do something to acknowledge TSN leaving the show early.
