The Woman Who Inspired Beach Boy Brian Wilson's Recovery Is Gone
Brian Wilson's wife, who played a key role in his recovery and rescued him from the clutches of a manipulative therapist, has passed away. Melinda Ledbetter Wilson was 77.
Hopefully, this does not set him back as he copes with some lifelong difficulties.
“My heart is broken,” Wilson wrote. “Our five children and I are just in tears. We are lost. Melinda was more than my wife. She was my savior. She gave me the emotional security I needed to have a career.” He added in a subsequent post: “She was my anchor. She was everything for us.”
