LA Times lays off 115 employees affecting the news room...adding to losses at Sports Illustrated, the Atlantic, and Washington Post...
Business Insider lets go of 8% of it's work force...according to Haley Lorenz claims tens of thousands of journalists have lost jobs this year, The jobs are going to alternative news sites like Sirius Satellite, Rumble, and more independent media outlets...yes and even on "X".
It is happening and will happen here too...guaranteed, the tides and habits of engaging in news and contents is shifting massively.

What on earth are you going on about now? SiriusXM and X are not creating journalism. X has laid off over 75% of staff and and also produce zero journalism.

There are many shows that are airing on "X" and on SiriusXM...it might not be traditional journalism, but that is where content is being consumed.
Here are some examples...
The bottom line is the traditional media news sources are crumbling and that was the point I was making Radio Aaron...the times are changing...

You're being disingenuous.
We all know eyes are moving from print to online, where audiences and ad dollars get spread out.
You're trying to paint a picture that people are leaving platforms you'd consider to have a bias to something more mainstream. Your initial examples don't show that at all, and replying with some NPR links when called out doesn't change that.
It's so transparent that you're trying to use more words to say "go woke go broke."

It not "untraditional journalism." It's not journalism at all. It's punditry. And neither of those examples are growing. SXM is flat at best and X is shrinking rapidly
