You may have heard of the Television Academy, the people who bring you the Emmy Awards. (This year's strike-delayed show will air on Monday night.)
That same organization has an almost mind blowing number of interviews - currently at 900 - of some of TV's biggest and/or most influential stars. Among those commenting on their contributions to TV history and their place in it:
Norman Lear, Alan Alda, Carol Burnett, Steve Allen, Milton Berle, Bob Barker, Walter Cronkite, Billy Crystal, Hugh Downs, Patty Duke, Andy Griffith, Monty Hall, Jonathan Harris, Buck Henry, Ron Howard, Jack Klugman, Art Linkletter, David McCallum, Mary Tyler Moore, Billy Mumy, Leonard Nimoy, Don Pardo, Carl Reiner, Tom and Dick Smothers, Judge Judy, Buffalo Bob Smith, George Takei, Alex Trebek and Weird Al Yankovic. And believe me that's just a partial list.

I just watched an interview with Richard L. Bare, the guy behind the camera on almost every Green Acres episode. (Green Acres is one of my all time favourite shows, because it's the most surreal comedy ever on TV.) At one point, the interviewer asks him how he directed Arnold The Pig. Apparently he was a huge ham!
If the other interviews are as entertaining as this one, I'm going to be very, very busy for a long time!
