The late comedic actor is set to be inducted sometime between February 21- 24 at a comedy festival taking place at the Hamilton Convention Centre in the new year.
Mostly well-known to Canadians from his work with The Hilarious House of Frightenstein and Party Game, he also made appearances on many other Canadian shows. Also, during the mid '70s, he made appearances on U.S. television with his bits on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour and The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show.

This is great news. Billy was a talented man and it is nice that he is being recognized, along with Martin Short, Eugene Levy. Steve Smith, Dave Thomas and SCTV. I hope this ceremony will be broadcast or shown at some point on television.
Interesting that CHCH TV runs Pictionary weekdays at noon. This program has a similar rec room set and format that the legendary CHCH program Party Game had back in 1970. Party Game ran for 11 seasons and Billy was the anchor for the home team in this memorable and entertaining charades game show.

Long overdue. One of the most talented Canadian comedians of all time. Hilarious House of Frighenstein still stands up for me.
