The medical drama is in its final season on CTV and I wondered what they would use to replace it for their CanCon requirements. Now it seems we know.
It's a new drama called "Sight Unseen" and it's about a homicide detective who loses her vision in an accident, and becomes determined to stay on the job. If that's a bit hard to believe, add this to the mix:
"[She conducts] her investigations through the eyes of Sunny, a stranger located 3,000 miles away. Guiding Tess with the support of a micro camera and earpiece, Sunny, an agoraphobic and true crime fanatic who leaves her apartment only through the eyes of her clients, is quickly absorbed by the nature of her newfound partner."
I'm already a bit skeptical, but I'll give it at least one view, although the premise seems pretty far-fetched
The show is getting a rather high profile debut, following an NFL playoff game on Sunday, Jan. 21st, with a repeat on Monday night.
Transplant, which has taken a break for the holiday season, wraps up its run in Canada in the New Year. NBC's version is about a year behind, so if they renew it, it will be on in the U.S. for a while longer.
Also worth noting that the newcomer is being produced in tandem with The CW, so I have to assume it will end up on that network at some point.
