This isn't local, but a father and son engineering team has put up their latest video touring some of North America's most famous radio station sites, with a special concentration on transmitters. In this latest one, they visit a station you've definitely heard as a DXer - the 50,000-watt powerhouse that is KMOX St. Louis.

Normally this wouldn't be something I might watch and at 43 minutes, it's pretty long. But it's undeniably compelling as they probe around the place and explain how it all works - and how it brings that 50K signal to you every night. This one is something of a personal visit - the father in the piece is the actual guy who takes care of the site. So he knows it inside out.
