This isn't local radio or TV, per se, but I love stories like this. It was on the group's "Led Zeppelin IV" and has become something of an iconic image. A university researcher (and Zep fan) was poring over some old photos when he saw something that looked familiar and was stunned when he realized what it was and who took it. Writing on the image identifies the man in the photo as a "Wiltshire thatcher" from the 19th century.
But incredibly, he also found his real name
The LP pic in question was bought decades ago from an antique shop by guitarist Jimmy Page, but had been thought long lost. Not anymore. The photo will be eventually be going on display at a British museum, along with the rest of the images he found. It's not exactly a masterpiece but the album is considered to be by some. It's the one that contains the anthemic "Stairway To Heaven."
