Head of Blackburn Radio passes. The Blackburn family has a long history in the London media scene formerly through the London Free Press - CFPL TV and CFPL AM/FM. Quite the local concentration of ownership for its time.
The Freeps is now part of PostMedia, TV is part of BellMedia and CFPL AM and FM now part of Corrus. The family re-entered the London Market through 98.1 FreeFM.

Really sad news, moreso at the young age the family members are when they pass. If I remember correctly, Martha was only in her mid 40's also.

I believe Martha was about 47. Yes sad news for the family especially when it strikes another family member at a similarily young age.
