She confirmed on Wednesday morning that she's been given a date for a hip replacement in January, which will require some kind of a recovery period. It's not clear yet how long she'll be gone from AM640 or who might take her place for the weeks she'll be off.

Jerry Agar, who is on opposite her on CFRB, recently had knee surgery and was away from his show for about two weeks, before being able to resume his activities from home. I'm not sure about this, but I believe hip replacement surgery involves a longer recovery period.
