CBC Launches Free All Comedy Streaming Channel
It's part of CBC Gem and it's now online. In addition to stand-up and sketch comedy, the channel features free episodes of Schitt's Creek, Run The Burbs and Son of a Critch (although all of those have been available on Gem for some time. This just puts them in a different category.)

If they ran some old Wayne & Shuster, SCTV, and CTV's Bizarre you would have something. They should have a huge catalogue of stand up from Just For Laughs. CTV's Comedy Channel is ok but too much Big Bang Theory and almost no stand up comedy anymore.

I'm sure the CBC would love to offer the Wayne & Shuster shows from the past, but as you may remember from this thread from last May, there are rights issues in play that means no one can see them until it's resolved. But I would agree it would be an incredible and likely very popular addition to their new streaming channel and get it off to a huge start.
