The obit in this morning's G&M is from the NY Times so the slant is truly American particularly that of oddly, Boston. Missed is his impact in Canada. Roger Whittaker was in the 70's a huge star in Quebec. One of the most requested artists at CFQR-FM in the day. He reflected the international flair that fit in well with the cosmopolitan vibe of Montreal then. Truly a troubadour for that era. RIP..
