It's easy to look back on the past and see how silly some of the predictions made back then were. Whenever a new technology appears, there are always rumours and sure statements made about how it will change the world. (Hello, Artificial Intelligence!)
So when TVs first began appearing in people's living rooms, many pundits were positive they knew how it would - or wouldn't - alter our existence. Here are 10 television certainties that never happened. But boy, were they convinced back then.
