This is a follow-up and a reminder of a previous post from last November:
There are sadly fewer and fewer of them every year, but on Sept. 17th, alumni from the glory days of The Big 8 in Windsor will gather for a reunion. Broadcast Dialogue reminds that it will happen just after the long awaited unveiling of a statue honouring the late Rosalie Trombley, the "girl with the Golden Ear," who was famous for being able to launch hit records that became huge across North America.
(Elton John's "Bennie & The Jets" is one of the most famous, with the artist believing it had no chance of ever making it as a single.)
Not only is the statue ceremony open to the public, so is the reunion that follows. So if you were a fan and are in Windsor on that Sunday, you can attend for free. A list of where and who is in the poster below.
