It was all of 19 secs. and this extremely short video about elephants and their long trunks is, even today, pretty unremarkable. Except this banal bit has the honour of being the very first video ever uploaded to YouTube, which now has been joined by billions of others.

It's 18 years old, features then YouTube founder Jawed Karim (before Google took it over), was put up on April 24, 2005 and now boasts 278 million views.
