What Are The Rules For Candidate Ads On Radio During Election Day?
I have to confess I used to know all this, but I've long since forgotten. I'm aware you're not allowed to put out poll information about who's leading and who's not on Election Day, but are there any prohibitions about running ads for candidates on radio?
I've heard several of them on Monday and thought they were verboten on voting day. I guess not. Or is that just federal or provincial? What are the rules regarding candidate ads on Election Day?
Personally, my money is on the dog!

I have also seen ads for Chow and Bialo yesterday and this am on City TV... it must be permitted, I can't see experienced campaign staff not knowing the rules. As well, I'm sure the sales/traffic departments would also know the "what applies and when" it does.
I checked the Elections Ontario website but could see anything specific to a municipal election or by-election.
I don't have a dog in this race, but I'm still pulling for Fido... Ruff!!

Both City tv and CP24 were quoting the latest poll statistics this morning. There were two polls released yesterday.
