CN Tower 47 Years Old On Monday-Celebrate With A Sky Walk
Toronto's big stick in the sky celebrates it's 47th anniversary on Monday. CHUM's Jamar from the morning show and a couple of listeners are going to mark the occasion with a Sky Walk during Monday mornings show. Shades of Mike Cooper riding the ferris wheel at the CNE?
Monday is also voting day for a new mayor in the big smoke...So many choices, so little time!

A few other CN Tower memories, as it relates to broadcasting. The first and last are from 1976, the second from 1980, while the "Erection" Fight happened before the Tower was even around, in 1973.

Yeah, nope. I would be interested in seeing the tunnels in the base. Or perhaps the two stabilizing weights suspended in the top section. Or the antenna tip where the kids spraypainted their names.

Total FM Entertainment! Also, the antenna particularly for FM is now 47 years old and still going.
