In London, Canada Post delivers flyers each week for Canadian Tire and Home Hardware. They come bundled in the same package together.

I was monitoring the 2M ham band today. They had a huge opening. There were calls from all over North and central America.

It's a program by radio amateurs for radio amateurs. It's really well done. I heard it locally today at 1600 GMT on the 2 M band. It's a good program. I'll be tuning in again next week

Before I retired, I spent a lot of time driving the 401 between London and Windsor. That two hour drive time was my DX time on the car radio. I quite often got some rare DX catches.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check tomorrow. A week or two ago I was getting the NOAA station from Cleveland on my weather radio.

A friend worked at CFOS back in the 1970s. One of their features every day was the obituary notices from the local funeral homes. One was expected to read it in their most sombre and dignified voice. 

He told me that a favourite tricks with the other staff members was to gather outside the glass window of the studio and to try and make the reader laugh.
 

My 2020 Equinox has just a little nub of an atenna on the roof. It doesn't have any wertical component like a rubber duckie. It works well for SXM and FM, but it's pretty useless for AM.

Noxema shaving foam. When it was first taken off the market, Giant Tiger had their stock on sale. I bought about a dozen cans. I still have a few cans in Florida but I'm near the end of my last can here at home.
