Not a consistent 99.9 fan but I really appreciate the way Adam steers the Steve Dangle podcast episodes, he's entertaining, knows his stuff and it's not a surprise he'll be devoting his energy to the network of shows they've developed.
Nice to be able to leave voluntarily, and I am sure Jax will end up with another radio gig down the road, possibly in her hometown out east.
Curious to hear who'll be doing Virgin mornings and if it's an inspired choice or less so, like the new GM for the Leafs.

I decided to ask ChatGPT if it did want fries with that. Here's what it told me:
"As an AI language model, I don't have physical senses or the ability to consume food, so I don't have preferences for fries or any other food items. However, if you're asking whether fries would make a good addition to a meal, it ultimately depends on personal taste and dietary preferences. Fries are a popular side dish and often complement meals such as burgers, sandwiches, or fried chicken. They can be enjoyed by many people as a tasty and satisfying addition to their meal."
You'd think a computer program would know something about "chips!"
No wonder it failed in radio...
ChatGPT, a "chips" off the old blockhead. 😌

An actual groundbreaking legend. Brilliant songs, endless legs, black leather, sexy bed hair, that wicked gleam in her eye paired with a saucy grin. The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll.
83 years. RIP Ms. Turner 🕯️

PPity he couldn't appear on Moore In the Morning.
It's the jewel in 1010's crown and John Moore would likely ask an entirely different line of questions than Jerry Agar.
MITM is where a man of Pierre's significance ought to appear, but isn't for whatever reason.
If only Reshmi could chat with him. That could make for entertaining radio. 🤔😏

Even though Alissa Thibault is based out of the Vancouver CTV studios I'm sharing this because the impact of years of reporting takes a toll on radio and television journalists and news reporters right across the country and there's a couple of mental health resources specifically for those in the business mentioned in the replies to Alissa's tweet that someone may not know about and may find helpful now or down the road.
PTSD is more prevalent in radio and television than the public would think.
Chances are it's the courage of the company's employees in the past, some of them who live here in Toronto who have spoken up about their need for a mental health break from the work that are one of the main reasons CTV is permitting Alissa's leave of absence. I wish her well.

I hope Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph are back next season.

Man's best friend.Back story:
Lightfoot’s funeral yesterday was reportedly a small, private affair with 50 close friends and family members attending, but local fans had an opportunity to pay their respects at a public visitation on Sunday.
Those who did witnessed a bittersweet moment as an unexpected mourner curled up by the late musician’s side: a dog named Taurus.
According to Lightfoot’s longtime publicist Victoria Lord, Taurus belongs to one of Lightfoot’s tour people, and they bonded while on the road together.
“He used to go on the road with him and wait for Gordon side stage,” Victoria Lord told Newsner. “Gordon loved dogs.”
I realized after posting that many people won't read the back story about Taurus in the replies below the tweet of the photo, thanks for sharing it SpinningWheel.
