I follow Ivar Hamilton (music director at CFNY during 'The Spirit of Radio' years on social media and saw he posted this:
I will be back on The Edge/CFNY 'Time Machine' program this coming Sunday @ 6 pm. We celebrate the 40th anniversary of Live Aid. Along with myself, Dusty Lalas, Rob Johnston and special interviews with David Marsden who was back stage and on site in Philadelphia July 13th, 1985 and Sir Bob Geldof. You won't want to miss it!
It's interesting how 'The Edge' is constantly flip-flopping on whether it wants to remember it's 'Spirit of Radio' roots or not.

A few stations I plan to check out reception wise. CFOS, WUFO, WECK, WJR, CKLW/CJBQ and the Weak Buffalo stations on 1120 and 1400. They seem to change call letters often so it is difficult to remember them.

Thank you for this : )) ..
I finished watching the entire "Young Sheldon" series while I do my 2.2 mile trek on my walking pad each morning.
Looking for another watch, I gave Superstore a try. I had never even heard of it but given the several mentions in this thread, it seemed promising.
I think it's quite good even a tad risque for network TV. I'm just finishing up Season 2. The only characters I dislike are Bo (Cheyenne's hubby) & Pharmacist Tate.
Fun fact/question: Jeff appears to be the same guy from the infamous, hilarious Kmart "Ship My Pants" commercial.
Mike Bunin
Superstore Jeff 2016–2021 28 episodes
Other works: The "ship my pants" guy from the K-Mart commercial.

Agreed. I often wonder if disgruntled listeners and forum contributors are actually political flacks running interference for their party's views and people. Especially on an anonymous message board.

Well I ordered the Tecsen version of the AN-200 antenna. Including duty, it was a bit over $51 Cdn. Scheduled to arrive between August 8-21.

I never watched BBT when it was in production. Probably was on opposite a program I really liked. I discovered it in syndication and found it hilarious. I could really identify with geek/nerd factor. The smart part, not so much. Young Sheldon didn't interest me. The new spinoff on HBO or Crave won't entice me to spend the extra $$$ to watch it.
Same here, I never watched BBT while it was in production but have watched sporadically since .. yes it is quite funny.
BUT .. "Young Sheldon" is blinkin' hilarious especially the earlier seasons when he was a wee lad. I've watched the entire series; it was a staple view while I do my morning 2.2 mile trek on my walking pad : )) ..

I have to admit I was never a fan of the original "Big Bang Theory," now seemingly a daily staple of CFTO's line-up whenever they need to fill a blank space in their schedule. But I don't dispute it was a huge hit, so to each his or her own.
Now there's yet a third spin-off coming of the Chick Lorre show, this one called "Stuart Fails To Save The Universe." It features a peripheral character from the old show with a twist. And this one sounds intriguing to a sci fan like me.
"In it, comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman) is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. (The contraption is something Sheldon and Leonard worked on after the end of the original series.)"
The question is: will you be able to watch it? It's been ordered by HBO Max in the U.S., a streaming service not available in Canada, although I can't imagine it won't turn up on either Crave or HBO Canada. It may be ready to debut by next spring.
If the original was a favourite of yours, this could be something to keep an eye out for.
At least in this universe...
