Dave Trafford To Replace The Motts On CFRB's Weekend Show
NT1010 revealed the name of their new weekend host Wednesday morning. It's Dave Trafford, who will replace the Motts. The longtime former hosts officially retired after last weekend's show to concentrate on their equestrian business.
Trafford has filled in before and used to be a prominent newsman at the station before he left several years ago. In fact if memory serves, I think he was once their news director. Because of a previous commitment, his new gig won't start until next weekend. No immediate word on who will fill in for the coming Saturday and Sunday.

Here's more on Trafford, who was also ND at Global News and AM 640 for a while. Never knew he was also behind CIUT's founding.

I always end up listening to rerolls of TSN's 'Leafs Lunch' and Sportsnet's 'Hockey Central at Noon', first thing on Saturday and Sunday, it'll be great to have another option. Congrats to Dave on his latest venture, and to 1010 for putting him back in the chair, and on our airwaves.
