One word: WHY?
I tolerated the crap they have at midnight now. But, 5 hours? I leave RB on when I go to sleep. Now, I guess I'll be waking up to a different station. Pity.
On a side note: what's 640 going to air now that they don't have 18 hours of it? Infomercials? Repeats of their usual unemployment law, precious metals, real estate, pillow, lotions, potions and rectal ointments?
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Based on yet another P1 talk radio listener comment from cGrant, I'm starting to think his replies are all automated, using the exact same copy every time. Copy and paste, copy and paste, copy and paste...

How many BELL owned stations did the deal go ahead with?
"We are looking to replace several other markets in Canada, where there has been a switch-up.
Stay tuned for further announcements."
How many CORUS stations are no longer carrying the program?

CKTB has had Coast to Coast on their schedule for a while now.
CIRH is a first nations station in Quebec, and CKFR in Kelowna is a Bell outlet.
I don't think most syndicated programming costs much, if anything, other than a couple avails an hour. But, especially in the U.S., that can add up to big bucks for the syndicator just on volume alone.

On a positive note, at least now 610 and 640 won't sound too much the same at night, so no more accidentally waking up to the wrong station.
