    This isn't local, but it's a fascinating story for radio history fans that's been lost to the mists of time. There's no denying someone started running a pro-Hitler pirate radio station in Peoria, Illinois in 1941. But was he a mystery German agent who called himself "Fritz" or was he a prankster pulling a terrible joke on the FCC?

    The truth is fairly murky about what happened but that hasn't stopped Internet sleuths from trying to find out.
