60s Hitmakers Release An Incredible 45-Disc Box Set

Not even The Beatles or The Stones would dare release such a comprehensive set of their hits (and obviously, some non-hits as well.) But The Four Seasons, who were on the charts for decades and became popular all over again with the play and the movie "The Jersey Boys," have taken that challenge.

They've released an incredible 45-disc box set of just about every song they've ever done, including their hits, their covers, their old LPs and a bunch that have been gathering dust and left unreleased all these years.

But you're really going to have to be a fan of Frankie Valli and the Boys if you want to hear the whole thing. The price for the set is $400 U.S., and it will almost certainly be more in Canada. That's enough to make even Big Girls cry.

I wonder how long it would take to listen to the whole thing?

Re: 60s Hitmakers Release An Incredible 45-Disc Box Set

As soon as I saw this I wondered if the set includes their psychedelic release Genuine Imitation Life  Gazette and sure enough there is discussion about the release in the article. The box set will feature a vinyl issue of the album and it is supposed to be one of Valli's favorites. I have read about the album for a long time but don't remember if I ever heard it but YT makes that possible now but I like Tell It to the Rain better. This track lifts from Hey Jude at the end:
