The Southern Ontario/WNY Radio-TV Forum / CBC Radio 1 Ottawa Gets New Morning Show Host

Her name is Rebecca Zandbergen and she starts hosting CBC's Radio 1's "Ottawa Morning" on Tuesday.

She replaces Robyn Bresnahan, who spent 13 years in the early AM chair before moving on to podcasts.

She was the host of London Morning before moving to Ottawa as her family relocated there. In the last few months she has done weekend hourly news and been fill host on some of Radio One's programs, The Current for one.

The include the bottom of the hour newscast and any outro the host might do.

At least they could of ended at 9AM and then The Current would start after the World This Hour segments. Some morning shows end at 9AM or 10AM or some even end at 11AM.
