Global's website sucks for trying to watch shows

I've tried to see the new Hollywood Squares, and since I can't find it anywhere else, I have tried twice in two weeks to watch on Global's website.

It sucks.

Oh my god, first, you get ads that don't play, so you refresh the page. And when that doesn't work, you refresh again.

Finally, the ad plays.

Then the show finally starts, and by the time they announce the third of nine panelists, the video pauses with a circle spinning, and nothing happens.

You then lower your standards and start this whole process over again. Then you lose interest and complain on SOWNY. Global's website is garbage for watching shows.

Do you have a VPN? If so, set it to the U.S. and check out CBS.com.

I've never had a single playback issue with them, and there are no commercials or sign in needed.

I've also had issues with watching videos on the Global website.

However, I've found that the Global TV app on both my tablet (from the Google Play store) and Roku TV have been relatively problem free.

One hitch is that you have to sign in with your cable or satellite provider to watch previous episodes of shows, otherwise you'll just be able to watch the most recent episode for a limited time. (Same goes with the website). Signing in will also give you on-demand access to any Corus channels you subscribe to with your provider.

So Global's website got worse than CTV's website. I don't even have the Global TV app on my Firestick. But I remember when CTV updated the app for the Firestick. It fixed some of the bugs such as the buffering and repeating ads too. I wonder if whoever is in charge of the Global website should at least fix the bugs involving buffering while watching TV shows.

I haven't had any issues watching Global's website but I'm doing it through my laptop and running an ad-blocker.
