There was a time in my life where I could recite about 94% of the original movie's dialogue.
The original was such an excellent example of "lightning in a bottle". I'll see this sequel because I'm a fan of Guest/McKean/Shearer but I'm keeping my expectations extremely low.
For a brief period in the seventies, the National Lampoon Radio Hour was a fun listen. A recurring character was Flash Bazbo. It wasn't until fifty years later that I learned Flash was voiced by Christopher Guest.
Guest was Mr. Roberts on “That’s Not Funny That’s Sick” with those irrepressible Murray lads. Eggamuffin, anyone? As for this new Spinal Tap...probably wait til it hits tv.
