If you hate paying a lot of money but don't mind a few spots, this new idea from SiriusXM may be for you.

It costs just under seven bucks U.S. and promises half the spots of most radio stations.

Most likely constant ads reminding us that Tide gets our clothes clean...repeating over and over.

Some SXM stations already have ads, and they're mostly obnoxious. Kars for Kids, Californian Psychics, Debt Relief Advocates, Navage, Big Lou, plus countless ads for golf equipment, golf shoes, golf shorts, golf clubs, golf balls, golf sunglasses, golf resorts

All of the sports channels and other live broadcasting channels already have ads even for paid subscribers like me Because most of the broadcasts are live and they take the traditional breaks for time outs and even the sports talk shows are live just like the other live As are the news talk channels Any ads do repeat and they are just as obnoxious But I do like it when there is a big story or another live event that I must hear

I wonder if they'll make a similar offer in Canada.

The news feeds on Sirius from CNN, Fox and others also are chock full of ads and have always been.   The article says they will be runnig about half the volume of ads of broadcast radio.  Does that mean 5 minute commercial breaks?
