Well, he did it! Joey Chestnut won this year's 4th of July, Nathan's hot dog eating contest, downing 70 hot dogs.

Would you complete in a competition like this?

I just wonder if all of the contestants go for dinner after...

Thanks Dale,  for adding to the post and for doing the work you have been doing in radio all of these years.

The U.S. does things like this so differently than here in Canada and other countries. This event is broadcast on ESPN and the NBC National News cast is also featuring the highlights at today's Nathan's Hot Dog contest

Maybe we need a donut eating contest here?

Always remember, life is like a donut, one day you are in the dough and the next you are in the hole.

Entertaining but pretty disgusting to watch, that isn’t eating, that’s stuffing your face, literally! And ESPN actually covers this like a sport……
