Why??????????

https://ibb.co/dwZFCCmC

They need a website.

Strange for the web transition to have been so slow. Really should've been done prior to airtime.

What the hell is this?  I'd suggest: do not click this spam

The page in question is on imgbb.com, a free image uploading site. The poster in question did not paste the code into the SOWNY message window, but just sent readers straight to the site, which isn't the way it's usually done, but is otherwise just fine. It is not spam nor are there any viruses on the page in question.

In fact, it's where this site takes you when you hit the "Upload" button in the message compose window. So I think it's safe.

Available evidence at this point definitely points towards at least the websites for HTZ FM and CKTB being works-in-progress. The ICANN domain lookup tool reveals that the domain names "977htzfm.com" and "610cktb.com" are registered to Whiteoaks Communications with Matt Caine currently being the sole registrant of note. I'm not sure what's happening with the domain names for the websites of Dream 105.7 and Legend 102.9 though.

They knew the change of ownership was coming. I can see why there were technical snafus on air once they got their hands on the stations themselves and perhaps were swapping out equipment or automation systems.

But web design could be easily executed well in advance. This should have been ready to launch on Day One. There's really no excuse for it taking this long.

Could be stunting?

By taking longer to have web sites for Dream and Legend, it helps the future of those stations remain securely secretive until time of launch.
Not sure why Htz FM is taking so long if there's no real change there...

What I'm saying is they could have designed this stuff internally and not put it on the web prior to launch, so the secrets would have been safe. But it would have been ready to go and could have been thoroughly tested before the rebranded stations debuted.

We did this with a major web relaunch we did on the news site at the TV station were I worked. Come the big reveal day, they "flipped the switch" as it were and we were live and up. No two week or more delay, plus everything had been tested so we knew it worked.

Don’t over-think this. They just weren’t ready.

Maybe, but I maintain that they should have been ready. It's not like this was sprung on them at the last minute.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

They bit off more than they can chew.

There’s a reason Bell was selling these stations.

Currently, the websites at 610cktb.com and htzfm.com are both publicly announced as coming soon. Interestingly, it appears the website for 97.7 HTZ-FM will remain at the historical htzfm.com domain name and not the new 977htzfm.com domain registered by Caine himself.

It wasn't registered by Caine, it was registered by Bell. It's since been transferred to him
