Newstalk 1010 morning host John Moore opended his show at 6:06 a.m. this morning by telling his listeners how much he hated Monday's. He lamented that it was just 3 days ago that he left his workplace knowing he had that much time to do whatever he wanted. And now here he was - back at work.

What kind of a fucking attitude is that?

While he often says "don't get me wrong I love my job" it's always prefaced by how hard the shift is and how he always bolts out the door just as soon as he shuts his mic off on Fridays.

Bullshit

Maybe Robert Turner needs to have a chat with Mr. Moore?

If you don't have to work that day, Mondays are GREAT! Especially if there is major winter storm. It's fun watching CP24 showing all the drivers making futile attempts to get to work on time.

Hating days "just because" has always felt pointless to me. Equally as bad is the "Happy Friday!" people will put in their emails or the people who say "we made it" to indicate the end of a work week. Just stop it.

I can't tell you how many weekends, nights, early mornings and stat holidays I've worked over the years.
I would kill to work a steady diet of Monday-to-Friday with weekends and stat holidays off -- with a consistent shift like mornings (finishing at 10 am!)
In a fun and very stimulating job to boot.

Moore is very boring, almost unlistenable. Moaning groaning all the time like he is the only one that's having issues. Maybe you should go to CBC and bore their audience.

If you know that you don’t like Moore’s show, then don’t tune in. I don’t like Alex Pierson’s show, so I avoid it like the plague, but I don’t bitch and moan about it, mind you, I’m usually busy when it’s on.

I feel the same way about Jim Richards which is why I never listen to his show.
