It was an offhanded comment during a Think Tank segment on Greg Brady's morning show. In talking about the raises MPPs voted themselves on Thursday, he claimed he was not guaranteed his old job would be waiting for him when he left to run during the last federal election. 

I had been under the impression - especially with all the time temporary replacement Kevin Frankish intoned that he was "in for Greg Brady" - the job was waiting for him if he was defeated - which he ultimately was. 

If that's true, it was a pretty brave leap of faith to take that risk. Giving up a morning show gig in the major market in Canada, even on a relatively low rated station, could not have been an easy decision.  

I often wonder if Frankish would have been named permanent host if Brady had won. And if not, who else might have been up for the position full time.
